Bossy has a very astute subconscious, which is reflected in vivid dreams directly related to whatever is going on in Bossy’s life.
Sometimes it’s just not that obvious.
Case in point: the other night Bossy dreamed she was looking in a mirror when she realized she had surgical tape stuck to various areas surrounding the eye.
The surgical tape was barely visible, but in the dream there was sense of panic since the tape had been stuck there for so long:
In the dream Bossy began to peel away the surgical tape, and when she did, she took some of her eyebrows with it:
Throughout the next few days Bossy thought about this dream but none of her usual dream analysis seemed to apply. So Bossy undertook exhaustive dream interpretation research, which means Bossy looked it up on Google.
It turns out we think of the eyebrow as a means of expression:
So when one dreams of their eyebrows, one is trying to reconcile the state of one’s emotions.
If you dream your eyebrows are compromised, it may mean you are hiding your emotions when awake. Similarly, it may mean you are not at all hiding your emotions when awake, but rather drawing attention to yourself.
Or it could be Bossy realizes it’s time to tweeze.
What say you, Bossy’s esteemed council? What’s going on inside Bossy’s mind?
I don’t have any idea about eyebrow dreams, but I want to know why I keep dreaming that there is a hole at my elementary school bus stop and out of the hole come THOUSANDS of furry little critters.
forget about it!–go out and run a few miles
Does Bossy training her replacement hold any significance?
My guess (based on the most recent posts) is that it has something to do with sex, Bossy.
Now all I can think about is the Seinfeld episode where Elaine draws eyebrows on Uncle Leo..Now I’m thinking of Joan Crawford. Now Faye Dunaway as Joan Crawford…great. Maybe you just need to tweeze!
Dreams ALWAYS have something to do with sex.
I think Bossy’s subconscious is telling her to go for a new look. And those crazy eyebrows are a good look for Bossy.
I think it means you are conflicted about something and your eyeboprws are up and down up and down helping you to determine your position. Go with your gut Bossy! Happy Holidays!
Ahhh – perhaps it means that you are afraid of expressing whatever it is you were dreaming about.
Sometimes I dream that I go outside without my pants on. Maybe Jami is right.
IF: Eyebrows are a means of expression;
AND: You are dreaming that there are gaps in your eyebrows
THEN: You are feeling that you are not expressing yourself–completely
Bossy,
You have surgical tape on because you are mending. Surgery is usually a removal of something (or someone?) or trying to fix something. Surgical tape is used during the mending phase but you took yours off and it caused a problem. Maybe do not try to remove the tape yet…let things mend.
Dreams almost always mean we are feeling a little out of control in our lives. Trust the psychology major, who’s always being chased by tigers. .
Dorothy of Oz is sure to be an instant classic for the whole family. The film is due out next year but the buzz being created is undeniable. Between the vastly talented cast and the original music, how could you not be excited! Glee’s Lea Michele is in the title role as Dorothy Gale and she will bring such a fresh sound to the legendary character. Let us not forget Martin Short, Bernadette Peters, Kelsey Grammer, Dan Aykroyd, and many more bringing life to both new and older familiar characters!! Dorothy of Oz has all the components to be the new family favorite!
I was more focused on the meaning of the surgical tape than the eyebrows, but either way I think it means Bossy needs more wine before bed.
All I want for Christmas is for Bossy to start posting every day!
In an earlier post you were contemplating Botox. A procedure represented by the tape. After the procedure your expressiveness (eyebrows) will be impaired???
opposite perhaps
I can not wait to see Dorothy of Oz, my daughters love Lea Michele on Glee, I can only imagine how much they’ll love her as Dorothy Gale!
So happy to see such a fun family oriented film coming out, I’ll definitely be seeing Dorothy of Oz with the whole family!
