Yesterday Bossy and two of her girlfriends spent the whole entire fabulous rainy warm day with three of Bossy’s gays!
from left to right, Lora, Alwyn, Josh, David, and the irrepressible Vuboq.
These three men and all of their fun and generosity and smarts are an example of the many amazing gifts this blog has provided for Bossy. How lucky is that?

January 26, 2010 at 3:42 pmIt seems to me that since vuboq got his new job at the quasi-environmental governmental epicurean stalwart foundation dedicated to top secret mixology all he does is hang out with Bossy on Mondays. It makes me think of the Bossy Gay version of Burn After Reading. I am a bit jealous. Does anybody have a Schwinn? I just need these 4 surgeries…

I really really really wish I’d been there! Josherz was there, and he’s huge tall! And my beloved Vuboq! And David, who is freakin’ wonderful! And BOSSY’s girlfriends, who probably rock too!

January 27, 2010 at 3:46 amLooks like a great time!
I love your blog and read it every day!
For some reason, though, the recent trend among many (usually women) to refer to their gay friends as “my gays” just doesn’t sit right with me. If I were gay, I’m not sure I would want it constantly mentioned as though it were my entire identity. It reminds me of my grandmother, how every time she told a story, she had to include the ethnicity of whomever she was talking about.., “That Oriental lady, Kim” or “That colored fellow, Sam”. We don’t refer to anyone else based on their sexual preferences…, “This is my doggie style friend, Amy”.
To me.. it just objectifies them and reduces them to fashionable accessories. Am I the only one who feels this way? I realize, at least among your other readers, maybe I am, and I’m not trying to be a hater- but this is something that i see a lot of lately (not just from you)- and I finally had to ask!
