Bossy’s Excellent Road Trip: On Day Fourteen Bossy Created Laguna Beach California.
Coming soon: more details about the Laguna Beach get-together and the San Diego get-together and even the Orlando get-together. Just as soon as Bossy and John Cusack meet, marry, and honeymoon.
P.S. Bossy, honey, were you aware that they CAUGHT that woman who’s been stalking YOUR HUSBAND JOHN [so to differentiate him between YOUR HUSBAND THE CUTIE BACK HOME and YOUR HUSBAND AT STARBUCKS] last week?
I figured you might have missed this important news, you being on your bloggy walkabout and all.
Bossy is making me very homesick. I miss it, and I can smell the flowers and the ocean. No worries about too much humidity or bugs.
Ok, so I don’t need Bossy to tell me it’s time for another trip back to my roots and OC grandkids.
Oh so jealous. I *heart* Orange County, republicans be damned. Looks like you are having a fantastic road trip, Bossy, but I do have one request: bring some of that sunshine back east, please!
That isn’t a real place. That’s a theme park. Elves live there. Please come to a real city like Detroit, where we don’t dust avocado mush with fairy dust, or some shit.
But Bossy, that would be bigamy. Which, I’ve heard out west, isn’t that big of a deal…
Here at Eclectically Yours, we aren’t sure we are going to ever read bossy’s blog again because we are INSANELY jealous of bossy. The Beauty, the flowers, the sheer sunshine is making us foam at the mouth in ravenous envy.
Laguna Beach does appear to be the Garden of Eden and Bossy’s photography skills are incredible.
But let’s get down to brass tacks. Here is the (Missing? Potentially Missing?) Man Count as of today:
1. Cowboy Josh – last seen strapped in the back seat of Bossy’s car in a “sleeping” bag. Likely tossed into the desert prior to Bossy’s switch to smaller, exceptionally stylish vehicle.
2. Starbucks Joe – Last seen typing e-mails to his friends and family about woman taking his photo from across the table.
ok, now I KNOW that I am stupid… I missed a LB meet-up? That’s like 5 minutes from my house! Instead I was going to try and make the LA meetup, which is 2.5 trafficky hours from my house. ARGH! 🙁
O.K., I officially hate you now. You just had to post pics of the overflowing bougainvillea and succulent avacado dishes to make me miss California. Why don’t you just rub it in already?
Must be Las Brisas guacamole. mmmmm I read but don’t comment, maybe I should do that sometime. I’m only 15 minutes from Laguna Beach, and felt, well, uh, stalkerish to try to meet up with you especially since I’m not much of a commenter. Oh well…
Oh, duh…I couldn’t have been in Laguna Beach last night anyway. I was at the Honda Center in Anaheim dancing and singing the night away with Bruuuuuce and the E Street Band. Whew.
OMG – If i had noticed you were going to Laguna Bch I would have asked you to go and take a drive-by photo of the place we lived when we were in the US (in Fen Way). Laguna Bch is a gorgeous place.
What is that on the plate? Is everyone right? Is it guacamole? I doubt the cafeteria at work today will be carrying that. I’m about to cry. Let’s blame pregnancy hormones.
OMG–I want to move in to that little cottage ( yeah right, it’s probably a several million dollar home, right?) Anyway…I love the pictures. Now I haveto go and check out California.
If you like milkshakes, you must go to the Shake Shack (on the PCH)! I haven’t been there since I was a kid in the mid 1970s–we always ordered the date shakes.
Very pretty. But, what Bossy isn’t showing is the bumper to bumper traffic along PCH, and just the general congestion that is So Cal. Sorry, I live the fantasy, and it’s not all bougainvillea and guac.
Seriously Bossy, are you trying to make me lose my mind with all of these beautiful colors and that amazing looking avocado thing? Don’t you remember that most of us are still living in muddy, dead grass, no leaf places where it could possibly snow this weekend. At lease we get to live vicariously through you on this trip. And of course we haven’t lost any sunglasses on our vicarious trip.
Ah! I didn’t know you were going to be in Laguna Beach! You were five minutes down Pacific Coast highway from me, here in Corona del Mar! So glad you got to experience the beauty of Laguna Beach! 🙂
The word I thought of when I saw these pictures was “lush”. Which, strangely enough, is the same word I thought of when I saw Bossy’s pictures of her bloggy friends. 😉
