Whew! Glad you made it through. You’ve got one heck of a schedule going on. I know I’d be EXHAUSTED. Oh, and completely nutso due to the lack of peoples to talk to. I need peoples.
A one way tunnel…and a long one. I wonder if Bossy held her hand firmly on the HORN the whole way through….That’s the only reason to have a horn…tunnels.
Travel safely…my other daughter in the Denver area will be waving as you pass through.
Glad to see you are out of the Northeast. Bossy seemed to be getting a bit of that dreaded SEASONAL DISORDER from all that rain and drizzle.
But your hair looks great!
Happy trails!
Enjoy the long ride across Kansas on Saturday. I’ve done it many times, and I gotta tell you, the boring-ness of Western Kansas is more than made up for by the beauty of the Flint Hills. Safe travels.
Please do not judge our fair state of Kansas by your poor views from I-70 as you head east. We are more than silos and ambers waves of grain. Maybe. *gulp*
We always played “Who can hold their breath the entire length of the tunnel game” whenever we went through one,,,LOL
Of course the driver of the car was not participating for the fact that we needed them conscious/ lol
This humble reader thinks that when Bossy is in St. Louis she should make a trip over the Mississippi River and head to Borders for an impromptu book signing. That and we do have a Seattle’s Best coffee shop and it would be a nice change from Starbucks!
Awesome photo.
But honestly, could we just skip the BS and have you come back to So. CA? Thanks.
I’m relieved for you. That’s a lot of stinkin’ driving.
Glad you made it. Which way did you go? I-84?
Wow. Did Bossy see the light at the end of it?
Whew.
Never a doubt…
Dammit, I wasn’t paying attention and didn’t realize Bossy was coming to St. Louis!
I saw no seagull in that picture. Problem fixed?
Yay, you weren’t buried in a snowslide on top of Snoqualmie!
Happy times are sure to await you in Denver . . . can’t wait to read all about them!

Wow. You’ll be home in no time!
Let’s see…
I wasn’t able to get to Dallas to see you. Should I drive 10 hours to STL? If I only had the time – damn job!
Bossy must be discovering reservoirs of strength she didn’t know she had.
“break on through to the other side…” it was the first thing that popped into my head.
Bossy is having one boss of trip!!

Holy road trip, Batman. I can’t believe I’ve never been to your blog before. Happy trails.

Whew! How long is the ride to Denver from SEA?
Will there be more tunnels to come? I feel my anxiety level rising. Please keep us apprised.
Very psyched about the KC meetup!

My guess is Bossy is driving Saturn’s version of a panel truck these days. The better to hide the victims of her Excellent Serial Man-‘Napping Spree.
(That was my Evil Twin above. Glad you made it through O.K.)

I’m just saying.
Godspeed. You rock.
Denver to Kansas? Easy. Click your heels three times repeating “there’s no place like home”.
Bossy *is* wearing her ruby slippers, right?
I think the seagull turned into a bat (does anyone else see the dark spot where the seagull was?). Appropriate with the cave and all, I guess.
no pictures of boise?
