Last night Bossy was in Cleveland, and her Ohio host has a very special place in Bossy’s heart because Bossy has had a crush on her blog since 1776. And Bossy and her host became fast friends. Fast friends sitting in a vat of warm artichoke dip.
And then Bossy and her host joined her and her and her for dinner and dancing transvestite watching.
And then this morning a very tired Bossy was out the door early to begin her descent home.
AHH Bossy is on the down low of her trip!! Everyone is SO thankful for living through Bossy on her Excellent Road Adventure.
We Love us Some Bossy!!
HUG all your family! They miss and need you!
Excellent Road Trip indeed!
I’ll bet you’ll agree with Dorothy, there’s no place like home!
Lately I’ve been getting 5-6 hours of sleep a night, and I DRAG. I can’t even imagine how you’re doing this, but I’m glad it’s almost done for you. Safe on the home stretch, our bloggy friend.
We did pretty good out on the town considering were more than 200 years old, didn’t we? You would’ve have thought that loud, pulsating music wouldn’t have bothered us so much considering we lost our hearing in 1912.
You’re a gem, Ms. Bossy. I’m so glad I got to meet you. The crush goes both ways. *kisses*
So glad you got home ok. xoxo
Yippee!!! Welcome home! Since you’ve been gone the trees and grass went from brown and boring to bright and green and flowery and lovely. Ahhh, the lilac smells good!
Glad you had a safe trip!
Have a safe trip home, Bossy. I regret not being able to meet up with you and the Madison bunch. Stupid doctors and surgery and all that!
I’m betting those are familiar sight coming down the home stretch.
Those same four goofs are waiting curbside for you….and Stella!!
And somewhere back home, a giant dog named Stella lounging on a couch 2 sizes too small, can sense BOSSY is near.
I knew there was something in the Ohio air the other day – it was Bossy! I live 5 hours south of Cleveland (which rocks!) so I wouldn’t have been able to visit, but I am glad you had a great time.
Home? Really? It seems as though you just left home yesterday although I imagine that couldn’t feel farther from the truth after being gone for so very long.
What an incredible journey you’ve taken us on Bossy.
THANK YOU so very much; this is a trip I’m sure none of us will ever forget.
S t e p h e r
Bossy’s stamina is nothing short of amazing. Get lots of rest when you get home – remember you’re sleeping and eating for two now that “Saturn” got you pregnant.
Safe travels.
Bossy’s going to dream about driving for WEEKS.
I bet the Keystone State never looked so good!
You are a driving/blogging/slider-eating phenom. Enjoy your family reunion!
What?! No Cleveland Husband?
I am so disappointed.
I thought about Bossy all day. I bet that’s one happy family, one Dane who isn’t just great, but very excited…and one very worn out Bossy.
It really was a pleasure meeting you and the other bloggers in Cleveland. I am glad you are home safe and sound with your wonderful family!
Even after all that fun, I have to think that Bossy must yearn for home!!
i can’t believe it has already been 5 weeks! that’s craziness…
i bet the bossy gang is chomping at the bit (and frantically cleaning)
Safe home, Bossy – you should get a medal.
WOOHOO! Welcome home my friend, welcome home!
Barns and trestles and a road home. Trifecta!
Don’t know how you did it, Bossy…but THANKS for taking us all along with you! It’s been a fascinating read, and I almost feel I’ve met a whole slew of new friends thanks to you.
those were beautiful pics and great sunsets
So how far from home? Have a safe trip on your last leg! I’m pretty close to Cleveland BTW!
I know you all had a great time out there in the hinterlands (?)
BUT we’re glad to have Bossy back sitting at our table and telling us about all you wonders!
She is smitten with the whole trip and everyones generosity.
I am so glad you are finally home to rest your weary head on familiar pillows. But even after just 24 hours, we already miss you fondly here.
If you ever get the urge to put pen to paper instead of all that keyboard mess, know there’s someone in Michigan who will write you back on real paper and use a stamp and everything.
Your last photograph of the darkening sky is haunting. I dearly hope that storm did not do any haunting-of-the-sort on your drive home. Yikes.
You must be so “seepy” (as my 3 year old calls it when mommy has just the one cup of coffee…)
WHAT??? No stops in the Upper Peninsula! I am shocked, SHOCKED not to receive a visit from Bossy.
Maybe next time.
Hope you made it home in one piece.
It was truly wonderful to meet you, Bossy. I’m honored that I was included in your Excellent Road Trip. Glad you made it home safe and sound.
One of the best things about traveling is that it makes you miss home. I bet it feels good to be in your own bed!
That last photo of the tower things? It totally looks like they’re dancing! What a festive, weird, ominous image!
Happy homecoming, Bossy! The road will miss you and your fleet of sporty rigs.
Nice job, Bossy. I’ve truly enjoyed your adventure.
So glad you’re almost home.
Yay. Come home.
And now BG is famous too!!!
Home sweet home has probably never been truer.
Home sweet home has probably never been more true.
I’m so jealous of all the hers! I’m so glad you have had a safe, although seemingly exhausting trip!
Awesome road trip, thanks for taking us along!
descent home…why do those two words make me kinda sad?
I’m so sure that they are counting the minutes at Casa De La Bossy…..
THANK YOU !!!
Hope you have a safe trip home! What a great adventure. Now that would be a great noval
5 weeks is a long time to be away from home. Any chance on Saturn letting you keep one of them?
Welcome Home Bossy!! What a ride!
Hope you make it back to Texas soon – Houston will have to be on your next itinerary. : )
Give Stella a hug and a shnorkel from me.
xoxo
My in-laws live in Cleveland. I am thinking that you are now on the PA turnpike-you are in the homestretch now! You go Bossy
