Eucerin’s Calming Cream Moisturizer.
And as you can see, boy does Bossy give this tube hell during the dry winter months. Bossy loves that it’s not greasy and has no scent — because at nearly 6′ tall, Bossy has a lot of square footage to cover and that would be a whole lotta lavender-scented person.
Plus, there’s this Bossy story that explains her scent phobia.
Bossy isn’t sure if the Calming part of Eucerin’s product works, but Bossy bets her kids would say, “Um, no.“

January 23, 2009 at 9:29 amI bought a tube of this before a trip, and it was the only scentless cream in the travel-size aisle. I second every good thing you said about it. Although, for heavy duty winter moisturizing, I remain a Cetaphil girl. It’s like axle grease for your skin, only it’s not greasy. And it doesn’t smell.

January 23, 2009 at 10:36 amThe only Eucerin I’ve ever tried was the ultra-moisturizing kind, and it was so grossly greasy I actually threw it away. And I NEVER throw things away. Disappointing.
Also, my husband one time remarked that women shaving their legs have it worse than men shaving their faces, because “that’s a whole lot more acreage.” Can you tell he grew up in the country?

January 23, 2009 at 11:27 amEucerin is pretty good, but I like Corn Husker’s lotion even better. It’s less greasy. I found it in my local grocery store on an emergency Operation Moisturize Hands mission. I was amused by the name (I’m originally from Iowa) and bought it cause it reminded me of home. Now I can’t live without it.

January 23, 2009 at 1:12 pmBossy’s nearly 6 feet tall? So is Reeb. Nice being able to see over crowds, isn’t it? Now that we’ve survived being the tallest person in junior high including all the teachers…

January 23, 2009 at 1:43 pmOh Bossy…I want to be nearly 6 feet tall. 4’10.5″ is no fun. Reeb and Bossy, crowds run INTO me because they don’t look down! And I can’t reach the top shelf at the grocery store, the sock at the bottom of the washer, any cabinet shelf above the lowest one….

January 23, 2009 at 3:39 pmEucerin is a staple in my humble abode. I would be a total prune otherwise…..well, that image is progressing but slowly thanks to Eucerin

January 24, 2009 at 2:40 pmMom gave me some Mary Kay, shall we all it, ointment, VERY scented, and Very greasy. Martha will recollect the scent…. from our Grandmother, Gammy, who must have slathered it on her face every night before we all crawled into our shared King sized bed. Great for my winters, great for the memories! (only apply at night)
