Did you ever know someone who loves their birthday so much they stretch it into a Birthday Weekend or even Week? That’s Bossy’s friend Martha, and that Birthday Weekend would be now.
I’m with Martha on this one. I declare a “Birthday Month” for myself each June, and if it is a milestone year – then it is a BIRTHDAY YEAR!! Happy Birthday to Martha!!
Happy Birthday martha, is that the world cafe steps? My wife Amys birthday is this weekend too, and we will celebrate at a super bowl party!! With Bossy!!!!!!!
Oh, I knew there must be even more reasons to like Martha beyond her being Bossy’s gal pal and the pink tresses and that is because she is a fellow Aquarian. Aquarius rocks.
I thought that’s how it was supposed to be done? I do consider the entire month of November game for any type of celebration myself. I always appreciate the big feast everyone has in my honor!
Um, I think that I may be Martha’s doppelganger in the midwest. Cuz this week is my birthday too and there are just not that many youngish Martha’s out there! I even had pink hair for a while…but no cool city subways or awesome concerts out here in the sticks!
Yup! My dd’s birthday is tomorrow ans she will hit the big 7! She make’s a big deal out of it because it is a “Holiday” too. Groundhog Day.
We humour her and stick her out in the yard to see if she sees her shadow and stuff. This year I made groundhog shaped cookies for her class. Yup, who knew Groundhog Day was such a big deal? Besides Bill Murray that is.
my little sister. last year was a four day extravaganzaa. seriously, every day/night for four days we did a different thing… drinks at this bar, dinner at this restaurant, spa day… uhhh… and another thing, but i forgot.
Every time Bossy writes about Martha, I can’t decide who I’m more jealous of: Martha, cuz she gets to be Bossy’s BFF, or Bossy, cuz she gets to be Martha’s BFF.
