This painting. It’s by Bossy’s brother, and it’s a portrait of Jimi Hendrix.
Bossy’s brother is a great artist, but he doesn’t treat himself to the time or supplies associated with painting. Instead he will occasionally trash pick paintings and gesso over them to create a new canvas, and then raid his house paint supply for colors.
Which just makes the outcome seem that much more spectacular.
Come to think of it, this painting could be cross-posted over there in Bossy’s Poverty Party.

Bossy doesn’t deserve new slippers?
There’s a familial pattern here ….
Bossy’s brother shows himself as a fluid bold artist! I love the active colors and bold strokes! Buy paint!! (go to cheapjoes .com)

February 11, 2009 at 12:58 pmWait…..I want Bossys brother to paint Bossys slippers.
An abstract waiting to happen
And if he uses his usual palette of collectible trash supplies, he will be in the true spirit of the slippers….No?

February 11, 2009 at 11:20 pmIs bossy’s brother really my husband?
Because paragraph two describes my husband who is a darn good artist if he’d actually take himself seriously.
Gee, i’ve always wanted to be related to bossy. Now we are.
