Much as I wish to, I am resolutely NOT thinking of spring. If I start hoping too early, the crushing disappointment of the inevitable March or (God forbid) April snowstorm will be that much worse. Much better to just stoically continue slogging through winter until suddenly, one day . . . hey! Daffodils! Definitely spring.
How is it more things are blooming where you are and you’re further north (by 90 miles)? Perhaps because you got snow and we didn’t – snow is a good insulator!
OK – am I the only operson who is looking at “this photo is currently unavailable” signed Flickr… is it some kind of conspiracy? “Make Bush Babe feel like she’s crazy” day??
