These days Bossy squeezes two hours of work in every morning before it gets light. But when it does, this is her very first glimpse. Just for kicks she pretends it’s Ireland.
This is so beautiful! But what was that about 2 hours before daylight? Isn’t that, like, 4 am here on the East Coast? Are you not human, Bossy? What time you go to bed, girl? No wonder Daylight Savings Time pisses you off. It makes me mad and I get up at 6.
Darn, I knew I couldn’t beat anyone else to the punch with a good, old “top of the morning to you, Bossy.”
I’m always yabbering about my Scandinavian ancestry, and sort of pretend that Irish-German side doesn’t exist. Otherwise, someone might say that, yeah, I have a stereotypical short-tempered, beer-drinking gene, which flashes on my forehead like a neon sign.

March 12, 2009 at 12:14 pmThought about you yesterday evening when it was so fabulously light for so long after work. It’s like somebody had saved some daylight for me!!
Love all the details that everybody points out. Squinting … to see … street scene in frame … too dark still.

March 12, 2009 at 11:17 pmI am quite sure Ireland is lovely, but between the Mary Kay aura and the bucking bronco, I couldn’t move past the interior.
Oh, and nevermind the liquor.
Who needs Ireland when there’s so much amusement and diversity indoors?
