I LOVE that photo. The shapes and textures are eye catching – the ghostly reflection of the shoes in the middle of the shaftare intriguing. lol Bravo. I also like the dangling, seemingly broken, cables on the right side. oooEEEooo
Bossy sends her readers reeling with this elevator shaft image, and gently brings them back to earth with the flash of peace sign. Way to get us thinking this morning!
Right now I don’t see anything other than everyone plummeting to their deaths. All I hear is me screaming for everyone to STAND BACK as I crouch low to the floor, arms outstretched, scooting children to step behind me. Then I duckwalk calmly to a solid wall and kiss it for dear life.
Oh. This photo is WAY arty. LOVE the converse shoes in the lift. (That’s Brit speak for elevator) Which only taunts me as my last pair of Converse sneakers died in the early 90’s and I have yet to get another pair! But the choices! And what color?! Oh, sorry. There I go getting all chatty again….
Regardless of assurances from every Tom Dick and Harry that spouts off about elevator safety and there being 100 million backup cables I still think there should be 100 million and ten.
Ok, I have nothing else to give after totally agreeing with numbers 2 and 11. Except to say to # 11 you have to go with the low top blue converse (chucks), especially in the summer. They look great without socks. And in fall/winter they are perfect with jeans. But I imagine you’re a chic so the”ll go with anything. Guys aren’t that lucky. But I love my blue cons.

I’ve heard we have an elevator in town. I don’t know, I’ve never seen it in 37 years of residence.

This is why I love living at or below sea level.
