Chicago’s deep dish pizza.
Bossy had the chance to try a slice of her friend Melanie’s pizza last weekend at Pizzeria Due.
Know this: Bossy doesn’t even like pizza that much, and just ten minutes earlier had stated she wasn’t in the mood for pizza. Well this isn’t pizza. It’s heaven mixed with sausage and cheese and fresh tomatoes.

July 31, 2009 at 9:01 amNext time you’re in Chicago, its worth the wait in line for Chicago Pizza and Oven Grinder. They make these deep dish pizza pot pies that are to die for. And this crispy chewy flat bread covered in herbs and parmesan… Oh great, now I want pizza at 7am.

July 31, 2009 at 9:54 amLou Malnati’s ships traditional, Chicago-style deep dish casserole – no, I mean PIZZA – anywhere! Visit http://www.tastesofchicago.com/category/1 or http://www.loumalnatis.com. Their pizza is, for lack of a better term, the shiz.
So glad you enjoyed our fair city!

July 31, 2009 at 12:34 pmDon’t even get me started! I haven’t had a decent slice of deep dish since we left the windy city years ago. So sad.
It’s a toss up between that and Portillo’s Italian beef sandwiches. Damn my land of sushi, coffee, and avocados!

p.s. Dear Bossy, I think you need to change this page’s tag to “Like Oprah Minus the MINIONS.” Which is how I read it Every. Time.
