Considering how pathetic my annuals look right about now, I can’t wait to ditch them and spruce up with mums. Used to love summer, but now that I’m 46, it’s just a little too hot for me these days…
Pesky old seasonal changes. I’m hanging on to summer as hard as I can, even though we did have that one week of over-100 degree temps. I’m happy to no longer live in the land of endless miserable summer, but was shocked, shocked I tell you, to discover the chilly part of me (read: well-padded with no circulation butt) was starting to think about putting the electric blanket back on my bed. Not in AUGUST!!
Yaaaaay Fall! I love it. The colors, the temps. Such a peaceful, slow-down time of year. Mums, pumpkins, corn stalks, straw bales. Orange, rust, bright reds & yellows everywhere. My favorite time of year. Not next week, mind you.
I really love fall; my favorite season. I just don’t like what comes along on its coat tails. The older I become, the less I like winter. Now I understand the snowbird concept.
It will be fall soon . Get over it.These are the colors of fall. They are the season. Summer is pinks and white and all the pretty colors of summer. Fall is orange and browns. Decorate. Have fun with the colors. Be crreative.

August 27, 2009 at 7:15 pmI love fall, too. What I don’t love is Christmas decorations in the stores Sept. 1st. Stop selling us CRAP. Let us just slow down and enjoy.
