Working side by side with all different types of people during Philly Cares’ Volunteer-A-Thon. Priceless.
By the way, when all was said and done, which amounted to several hours of volunteer time, every one of the previously institutional looking school hallways were painted — a cheery blue and a sunny yellow — along with the girls’ and boys’ bathrooms.
And that was just one of the many projects happening simultaneously all across the city.
