The twisted stuff in life also makes me laugh. Here’s one from my life: In the mailbox came an envelope from United of Omaha Life Insurance Company, the outside stamped in bold caps with the following: HERE’S THAT SECOND CHANCE YOU HOPED FOR MRS LINDA JACOBS.” Mrs. Linda Jacobs was my mother-in-law. She died last October from colon cancer. My husband showed me the envelope, and I said, “Is it really?” We laughed for days over it. He took a picture of it. Priceless, indeed.
