This photo, which Bossy’s 13-year-old daughter took with a piece of technology, although Bossy isn’t sure if she was using her new cell phone oh my gah her new Christmas cell phone, or the Photobooth application on the Mac.
In whatever case, certain photos, be it lighting or a total capturing of attitude, allow us to see glimpses of who are kids will be as adults. This is one such photo.

–>I was wondering who your new friend was at first and then realized it was your daughter. W O W!
MidLifeMama saysJanuary 19, 2010 at 10:03 am
Yikes, she looks so mature. And like someone I would want to hang out with. Yes, I am old enough to be her mom, but still.
Brava97 saysJanuary 19, 2010 at 10:15 am
Omigosh, yes. I know exactly what you mean. A friend took a photo of her two little ones (ages 4 and 5) recently that captured, in that instant, facial expressions beyond their years. I told her we’d just had a glimpse at the young adults to come.
Bossy’s daughter? Naturally beautiful, confident and happy.

Wow…Bossy with dark hair.

I see Bossy’s teeth, smile and sparkle in that emerging woman there!
Evolving saysJanuary 19, 2010 at 10:28 am
She has your piercing eyes. I’m glad you’ve stopped reproducing because some of us need to catch up with you and your beautiful people making ability!
Suzanne saysJanuary 19, 2010 at 10:46 am
She’s stunning… like her mama.

Beautiful young girl will grow into a beautiful young woman. There’s the proof.

Photos like those make me want to freeze time so they won’t grow up, up and away.
snowwhite saysJanuary 19, 2010 at 11:56 am
My thoughts exactly when I first saw her picture……beautiful.

Bossy’s daughter: practically perfect in every way.

Ditto #8, and Bossy’s daughter looks Bossy’s son’s age (and beautiful) in this pic.

Almost like Tina Fey. Gorgeous!
janny226 saysJanuary 19, 2010 at 3:33 pm
Beautiful. I see a glimpse of bigger DuckyBoy from time to time, too. It’s simultaneously scary and breathtaking.
Melissa saysJanuary 19, 2010 at 4:14 pm
I agree with the beautiful and looking so mature!

Time to start keeping the baseball bat by the front door, Bossy and Bossy’s Husband – you’re going to be beating throngs of boys away any day now! Just lovely.
