Welcome to the (No) Book Tour Countdown, where Bossy will — and this is a stretch — count down the days until she leaves on her (No) Book Tour. Bossy will use this space to detail what she’s up to as she plans, organizes, and collapses in fits. Shall we?
You are looking at a house in Bossy’s childhood neighborhood, Society Hill Philadelphia, and it represents what Bossy has been doing in terms of preparing for her (No) Book Tour.
Bossy loves this particular house because it features a second-story porch rich with iron detailing, which — unlike historical neighborhoods such as Savannah and New Orleans — is very rare in Philadelphia, which is not known for incorporating much iron work. Unless when talking about iron we are talking about iron railings that flank townhouse steps, in which case Society Hill Philadelphia is very known for those.
But Bossy, you may be saying, this has absolutely nothing to do with preparing for your road trip! To which Bossy would answer, exactly.
Bossy has been in this Society Hill neighborhood countless times this past two months, either having Vascular appointments or having Vascular surgery or going back for follow-up Vascular appointments. Are you sensing a theme?
Preparation for Bossy’s road trip has taken a backseat — and see how Bossy did that? See how Bossy buried a car pun right here in the middle of her road trip post?
In whatever case, Bossy is now pedaling very fast to catch up, trying to secure her sponsorships. And speaking of this, if you know any nice
paper-trained sponsorships in need of a home, please contact Bossy immediately using the contact link at the top of her blog.
More updates coming.
