It’s time for another edition of Everything I Know About Fashion Trends I Learned From A Blog Buried In The Recesses Of An Unfashionable Suburb, fall edition! Shall we?
This season is all about the military:
This season is also all about fashionable ways to stay cozy:
And although soft neutral colors are the new soft neutral colors, this autumn is all about a splash of red:
Also popular are patterned tights, wedge heels, and leg warmers:
This fall is also all about the deconstructed, relaxed response to the sheath dress:
But since Bossy is on a tight budget, where tight equals she’s stuck wearing her tight t-shirts even though tight is so 2009, Bossy is looking to these this fall to solve her fashion dilemma:
They’re Bossy’s new boots, and they represent her only wardrobe purchase, because Bossy and her friend Amy decided cute boots distract from a multitude of clothing sins.
Bossy can sum up her autumn fashion look in this way: Outdated jeans, shirts, holey sweater, but marvelous footwear excuses a lot.
Which is what today’s Ten-Word Tuesday is all about. In exactly ten words, can you tell Bossy about the Fall 2010 trend items you wish you could buy, or the way you’re dealing with the inability to purchase these things?
And be sure to check back later today for the best trend suggestions on the web.
