Fun is what you make of it. My usual brand of fun is sitting around in my pajamas while my in-laws entertain my children. Which I don’t photograph, because no one wants to see me in my pajamas.
Next time I lounge around the house letting various relatives raise my children, I should do it while sky-diving. And I should pay some one to photograph it so I could post it on facebook for my tens of friends to see. THAT would be fun.
I am not a huge fan of facebook…too much opportunity for oversharing (and I am sort of in agreement with Debbie’s comment about bragging – comment # 8). But, it was fun to look at the photos of the activities that people have been engaging in over the past couple of weeks. But, I like looking at people’s vacation photos so maybe I am not a good judge. Anyway, I agree with Angela, fun it what you make of any situation you are in! So, maybe you are having fun and do not realize it!
Oh, I was feeling sorry for all of Bossy’s friends because of their funny faces. They all had circles, or is that the way Bossy sees people?
But you have fun – who else had those marvelous around the country tours, with more people signed up than you could get to?
Yeah but how many of these people had an awesome no-book tour? No FB for me. Technically challenged and I have enough trouble getting things done, without another distraction.
Ha! One of my friends was at the GBV concert in Philly & has almost identical photos (that was GBV right? Am not good at knowing middle aged white male bands by quick glance…)…she got to go backstage though. I remember thinking wow I don’t really like GBV all that much but geez all I’m doing is looking at her photos while my kid bounces on the couch…
I have a facebook account, but don’t ever post anything. I think I’ve forgotten the password and where it is. That is really not having anything to do that much. I think I have hacked off my sister and cousin over a video they sent me and they thought was funny and my husband and I thought it not. We have odd ways of entertaining ourselves.
Oh, I LOVED this! I wanted it to go on for a few minutes longer. So fun to see how different people are living their lives. And the song is clever and catchy. I must watch again.
Signed,
Megan who you met in Austin because she came to the No Book Tour blogger meetup even though she doesn’t have a blog.
I requested your friendship on Facebook after reading this. Don’t know why I didn’t sooner. If you choose to accept it, you will see that my life is a crashing bore. You will feel like an international woman of mystery. You’re welcome.
Great, now I feel like even more of a boring schlub than I am. Thanks, Bossy. I’m going to go Photoshop myself into an awesome situation right now and then post it on FB.
Well, all I recognized was Bossy’s son, the Golden Gate Bridge, Half Dome, and Poohie, who leads a more exciting life than I do. I only joined FaceBook so I could Farm. Sigh.
That’s because you don’t see the fight that happens when the husband decides to just “follow the coast” to La Jolla instead of a map and lands you in downtown San Diego before you make the long trek back to La Jolla to take the picture.
that’s b/c people with pathetic lives like me don’t have a facebook page….
Sad my facebook life didn’t make the cut

I must not be having enough fun on Facebook.
Thanks, Bossy. Makes me want to get out and do something with my day!
You’re in Philly and I’m not…
Wait. Scratch that. I am in Philly.
And I’m not having fun, either. SIgh.
–>You’re welcome to visit me and make everyone else jealous. We always have a good time in my house.
facebook = bragbook for many
It was like Romper Room….I see Son Of Bossy, I see vuboq, I see Bossy’s brother.
Very clever! I liked it and now I want to go do something exciting. You know, more exciting than the laundry I had planned for today.

OK, I’m a little annoyed Poohie is leading a more exciting life than I am.

I love the intro to that song, then I heard the lyrics: Very funny !!!

Wow, I didn’t see a single red plastic cup in any of those photos. Classy.
At first I thought all the people were blowing bubbles. Of course I am still feeling the glory of THE GIANTS WORLD SERIES WIN!!!!!

Oh, Bossy, I would like to have half as much of the fun you think you don’t have judging from your photos and little knows facts and favorite things.
Well, Poohie has ALWAYS led a more exciting life than I have…
yo sister… I did all those things???? or… thought about planning them….
Here to check you out, but I don’t click videos.
I am annoying that way.
Off to another post.
I’m a STAR! *smooches*

I didn’t make the cut.
Bossy friends are fun!!!

What? Everybody is chewing bubble gum and blowing bubbles?
Ha, ha, I recognized some people.

Is it weird that I spent the entire video trying to figure out if we have any friends in common?

Cute! And that was the perfect song.
