Things could be worse: how about Rte. 22 & the Pulaski Skyway across the Meadowlands?. My dad would never pay tolls if he could avoid them. And he always found a parking space in the city.
Agree with Lovelyn: the Parkway is a much nicer ride, but then it goes to the SHORE.
