Next week — or would that be this week if it means it’s coming up — anyway, the week that approaches but not fast enough, Bossy will be in Los Angeles.
And in Los Angeles, Bossy will be meeting a new friend:
And Bossy will be seeing some old friends:
The above photos represent Bossy’s stop in Los Angeles and Orange County during her 2010 (No) Book Tour.
Well. This coming week, Bossy will be reunited with her blogger friends in LA for a little stunt Bossy likes to call Guest Riders!
That’s right, every day Bossy will have a Guest Rider who will represent the who’s who in Los Angeles blogging, and those Guest Riders will navigate Bossy to a destination that is typically L.A.!
It will be like Guest Riders on the not storm!
It will be like Who’s Waldo!
Who’s in? What do you think Bossy should do In L.A.?

Must go to the Apple Pan for a burger! Must. Go to the Santa Monica Pier — my favorite and why not try to win big money on Let’s Make A Deal! I have connections if you are interested in being in the audience. I did it when I was there in September. I didn’t win but had fun!!
Lori saysMarch 31, 2011 at 10:28 am
Too cool, Bossy! I have only been to L.A. once, so I have no suggestions, other than maybe the Playboy Mansion (considering the whole boobgate thingy).
Carroll saysMarch 31, 2011 at 10:36 am
Personally, I think Bossy should TRY OUT IN PERSON FOR A REALITY SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Yes? No?? Maybe???)
GrandeMocha saysMarch 31, 2011 at 10:55 am
I’m totally jealous of the peeps in LA that get to hang with Bossy. And of the good weather in LA.
GrandeMocha saysMarch 31, 2011 at 11:09 am
We could do this in Detroit in my Chevy Volt.
Tom saysMarch 31, 2011 at 11:12 am
Right across the street (Hollywood Blvd) from the Hollywood Bowl, used to be a great Mexican place (pick-up/take out only)… Try the Chicken/Avocado Burrito… You won’t be sorry.
Kathy from NJ saysMarch 31, 2011 at 11:25 am
Ask Y to take you to see Jay Mohr.
pam from ohio saysMarch 31, 2011 at 11:27 am
This is so awesome Bossy. I definitely think you should try to get on one of the game shows. Can you share details yet, about how this came about?
Deb in Winfield, Ks saysMarch 31, 2011 at 11:32 am
Hubby John Cusak should wine and dine and be divine! Have Fun Bossy!
Gramps saysMarch 31, 2011 at 11:55 am
The WORLD CHAMPION SF Giants are playing the “Doyers” this weekend—OOPS—guess you will not be there yet. Of course, perhaps you have given up baseball after your Phillies were put away last season by the just said Giants.
But. Gosh, I guess that is old news 🙂

Reading the above comments makes me feel so inadequate. I was just hoping for some alcohol and camera time with my friend Bossy!
Mary from California saysMarch 31, 2011 at 1:06 pm
This sounds like fun! Maybe you could go to the Huntington Beach International Surfing Museum – and there’s a surf music concert there on April 10.

pvz saysMarch 31, 2011 at 3:52 pm
Come up to Seattle and I’ll show you… some place, not sure what, but something uniquely Seattlian. Missed you on the tour, but I promise I won’t back/sideseat drive!
CS saysMarch 31, 2011 at 3:58 pm
Have a glass of wine at the Getty at sunset! Go to grilled cheese night: http://www.campanilerestaurant.com or have a snack here: http://www.aocwinebar.com/menus.html
All things I would love to do in LA!
kathy saysMarch 31, 2011 at 4:40 pm
I’m happy for you and jealous at the same time! I don’t have a blog and I live in Fl. No chance to ever meet Bossy!Anyway, I love California. Northern, more than LA. I know you’ll have a great time!
NellyFrittata saysMarch 31, 2011 at 6:18 pm
I grew up in Santa Monica. You should go roller skating on the Venice Beach boardwalk.
Lianne Depino saysMarch 31, 2011 at 6:43 pm
Stay away from the tourist traps. Go for a hike in Fryman Canyon in Studio City. It’ll get your blood pumping, but offers amazing views of the valley. Go see a concert at the Hollywood Bowl; lovely to just sit and listen. Has Hollywood sign as a backdrop. Go to Leo Carrillo State Beach. Just north of Malibu, with amazing tide pools to scour.
Pamela saysMarch 31, 2011 at 10:33 pm
two words: TACO CART
Gretchen saysMarch 31, 2011 at 11:15 pm
Definitely Leo Carillo State Beach off of PCH, Pinks for hot dogs, and the House of Pies. And Tito’s for tacos. And put your face up to the sun and enjoy!

As soon as she gets to LA, Bossy should drive to NYC very, very fast.
barbra saysApril 1, 2011 at 11:22 am
Are we talking the week of April 4? I am on Spring Break that week – I’ll email you.
Cupcake Murphy saysApril 1, 2011 at 11:23 am
I’m, like, totally in.
Tara saysApril 1, 2011 at 6:03 pm
I’m sorry to report that I’ve never been to L.A.
But…. I can now say that I’ve been to your site – and that’s probably just as good as taking a trip all the way to L.A.
I came here thinking it was MY site, but I guess that must be iamthebossiest.com….
Very funny stuff!
Doug saysApril 2, 2011 at 6:35 am
I don’t understand why you wouldn’t rather be in New England tooling around in a Yugo. Go figure…
Knock yourself out, Ma’am.
Allegra saysApril 2, 2011 at 11:08 am
Getty Museum, if only for the travertine walls and garden and view. And Pinks. And Laguna Beach
cynthiagirl saysApril 3, 2011 at 3:19 pm
Oh Bossy. You have to drive to Balboa Island in Newport Beach, my favorite paradise. Say hi to my mum! Newport Harbor is the largest harbor on the west coast, did you know that? Anyway, it only takes less than an hour from Los Angeles and it is heaven on earth…
Nancy Wurtzel saysApril 7, 2011 at 1:21 am
Bossy, I live in the LA area and would love to attend one of your get-togethers while you are here this week. Pretty Please???? Don’t make me beg! I’m a beginning blogger and would love to sit at your feet and learn from the Boss-o-master.
