  44. oh Bossy, wish you could stop in NM while you are on your way between Austin and Scottsdale! I just have one tip for you–do not stay in El Paso, Tx on your way. There are so many border problems there. Stop before there–Ft. Stockton, TX (only 50 miles from my parents!) or go on through to Las Cruces, NM. Please be careful!

  45. I see that you are hitting up Chicago 2 days before Detroit. Currently I’m lumped in with the Detroit folks because I live in Michigan. Honestly, I’d rather go to Chicago. I lived there for over 2 years and I’m more comfortable there. Is there any way I can get lumped in with them?

  49. MUST you take I-70 across the blah part of Kansas to get to KC?!!?!? There’s so much more to Kansas than that very nothing route. It makes for a such a bad image of Kansas–that and Fred Phelps! Hey, if you come through Topeka, I could escort you to a street corner where he’s picketing and maybe he would picket you and your Ford! Now that would make an interesting stop to write about! I can see your photo w/him and his clan on the front page of our paper. Oh, wait, that’d give him more publicity which is what he likes.   56. Darn kids getting sick and hospitalized…totally missed out on this. I swear I am still playing catch up when we were at the hospital because Kaiser does not believe in wifi or letting one use their cell phones with reliable coverage in the giant cement building.

    I filled out the form, only to realize that you left last week. Looks like I will be trying to take a trip to Detroit.

  57. I’m back to say, again, I didn’t get to meet you in Nashville. But, I followed you to Houston–that city of some freakin’ amazing bloggers. And I wrote this on my all time favorite blogger–Chookoonk–‘s comment section: “Okay. Blush. I am sorry to say I’m not for sure if it is accurate to call Bossy a “mommy blogger.” But she is a mother. And she does blog. That does not equate “Mommy Blogger,” I know. But, I just have to say I like, feel redeemed another mother who blogs has (beautiful) signs of aging. I feel like a grandmother around here. And, sure enough, some of the mommy bloggers do have mothers my age. Geez. I turn 50 in June.” (And if you are reading this NWWB–hey, no offense!

  58. Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had to tell someone!

  64. My coder is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the costs. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using WordPress on several websites for about a year and am anxious about switching to another platform. I have heard excellent things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can transfer all my wordpress content into it? Any help would be really appreciated!
