DG’s world’s greatest neighbors are as lazy as we are today. No bbq, no party, lotsa napping. We DID manage to shower today.

Bossy lives in a fun ‘hood … mine is more like DG’s … nobody doing nothing.
Domestic Goddess saysJuly 4, 2007 at 5:44 pm
Oh, they do stuff. We are just sans kids today and loving every minute of it! HAHAHAHAHAHA!

What’s the Electric Slide? Is it dirty? I hope it’s dirty.
Karen saysJuly 4, 2007 at 8:50 pm
Catherine has clearly never been to a wedding in America or she would know how to slide – and know that what it lacks in dirt it makes up for in adorableness when 7 year olds try in their cute little suits…Bossy, your neighbors are awesome. All our neighbor came over to help us with our PackRat, it turns out we are all “unpatriotic” – 5 families with no 4th plans! Don’t tell anyone! It was a great get to know you game, though!

I still don’t understand why one would collect rainwater in a gutter and pump it through a horse.
EvolvingRevolver saysJuly 5, 2007 at 9:21 am
…What??? Pump water through a horse? Is that some kind of Native American game??
Anyhow, I want to live in Bossy’s ‘hood. Any time there is an Electric Slide happening, good things MUST follow! Bossy, I’m moving in. You need a nanny?

I so do love a holiday where everyone is all gussied up in their summer whites and partying like it’s 2099.

Looks like fun — I had next door rednecks trying to set my yard on fire. Less fun.

Hope you had fun bossy. We managed to set off a big box of fireworks in the trunk of my neighbor’s car (on accident). Totally awsome.
Leah saysJuly 5, 2007 at 12:11 pm
Yeah Bossy! Was the block party fun? We “porch partied” with our neighbors since our condo association would not sanction an event in the common areas citing insurance liability. So we partied on our back porches and tossed beers to one another which is much, much safer.

There’s no question those folks are getting their boogie-woogie-woogie on.
Hope you got yours on, as well.

Who are those deviants? Don’t they know the rule! We were given strict instructions to wear red, white and blue [Patriotic colours I believe]. Who are those people? Foreigners?
When I told my mum we were wearing red, white and blue, she thought that we were forming a protest! [Red, white and blue are also the colours of the Union Jack]

Dorky Dad saysJuly 6, 2007 at 12:31 am
Are those people celebrating the Fourth or their upcoming trip to meet their god at a passing comet? DETAILS! I need details.
Mitch McDad saysJuly 6, 2007 at 10:52 am
Shit. That’s just good clean fun right there.
