The other night, Bossy and her daughter received two free tickets to attend the re-release of The Wizard of Oz, which Bossy and her daughter managed to turn into a spending opportunity, represented by the above menu. Oy.
While Bossy and her daughter waited for the delivery of their fried fried drizzled with fried, Bossy thought about the many different facets that make up a personality.
One of the things Bossy adores most about her daughter is the fact that right under her sunshiny surface lives a very old soul who surrenders to profound thoughtfulness:
As much as Bossy appreciates this trait, Bossy loves the fact that right above that lies someone with a doctorate in giggles. Shall we? First Bossy gets her daughter’s attention by saying something:
And then Bossy twists that something around and bounces it willy-nilly:
And then Bossy takes that something and propels it ass over head until its party dress is wrapped around its neck:
And then it’s Game Over. All that remains for Bossy to do is sit back and enjoy the descent into belly laughs.
Ahhh. Mission accomplished, at least for another hour.

September 25, 2009 at 8:50 amIt is my mission when I am with any of my kids, to make them belly laugh. It’s healing for me to hear their giggles, no matter how old they are.

September 25, 2009 at 9:01 amYou look like you have a great relationship with your daughter. Reminds me of me and my daughter, Adee. I think my daughter is a couple of years older than yours, but it was just the 2 of us for so long and we really had a great time together. We love going to musicals together too. It’s our mother/daughter date nights!

September 25, 2009 at 11:37 amIs this what your mother did with you? Was just reflecting on the delightfully strong mother-daughter bonds in your fam.
That plus the fact that your daughter will always remember you with a camera permanently in front of your face.

September 25, 2009 at 12:02 pmIsn’t she lovely? I wonder if years from now she will look back on this experience and treasure it or will she think Bossy is a nutjob who tormented her and made her go into therapy? (and Bossy will be in ‘the home’ so it won’t matter).
Love the pictures and the laughter always.
