Some of you may already know Bossy spent the weekend with her gays, where some of you equals everyone on earth except for Bossy’s real life friends who don’t read her blog.
And Bossy and her gays had a grand time, but that’s not what Bossy wants to talk about. Bossy wants to talk about this:
They are fried olives and despite what you may be thinking, Yes they were that good. But that’s not what Bossy wants to talk about either.
What Bossy wants to talk about is this: As she and her gay Vuboq sat on the patio of a restaurant in D.C. during unseasonably warm weather and scarfed those olives and other stuff, Bossy and Vuboq caught sight of their busboy and, specifically, their busboy’s forearm:
The busboy’s forearm was exactly like the one above, minus the exposed biceps and the whitish flexor carpi ulnaris and… perhaps Bossy should find another photo for purposes of explanation:
The busboy’s forearm was exactly like the one above, except it wasn’t a prosthetic and it didn’t have that — what is that? Spanx shirt on it or whatever. Let Bossy try again:
The busboy’s forearm was exactly like the one above, except instead of a barbell, imagine he was holding one of Vuboq’s several glasses of empty beer. And there was one other thing about the busboy’s forearm which was different: the busboy had a tattoo. And that tattoo said the following:
That’s right, his tattoo said Life is — except there was more! His forearm contained the continuation of the sentence, the key to the universe and the meaning of it all — except try as they might, Bossy and her gay Vuboq could not see what came after Life is, which always seemed to be obscured by the busboy’s tray.
Bossy can sum up her feelings about the busboy’s tattoo in this way: Two wines into it and Bossy was like What life?
Which is what today’s Ten-Word Challenge is all about. In exactly ten words, can you tell Bossy and her council what comes after Life is…
— can you finish the sentence and solve the mystery of everything?
And be sure to check back later today for the most tattoo-finishing comments on the web.
If you missed last week’s Ten-Word challenge, go here to read about the nice things Bossy’s council recently did for their friends and vice versa.
